2009 saw the return to South Africa of Wanderers Old boys Steven Anderson, Sandy Crear and Derek MacFeate. Gone were David Ramage and John Sneddon their tiny shoes and massive shorts filled this time round by, another Old Wanderer, Simon Gray and our token Englishman, Richard Vickers. The mysterious Mark Beal also failed to make the cut in South Africa. The playboys may have been a little older and wiser than before, but we had dispicable reputations to up hold and as the " Devils in Skirts " we hit the dark continent with a bang, and the Regiment was born.
Hong Kong 2012 promises to be the best yet and as the usual suspects all voice their interest, the stalwarts already confirmed, I will be keen to see who answers the call to arms when the deposits are required.
When the going gets tough the pockets get deeper and the arms get shorter.
The Regiment Rides again.
